The trunk space that age of Hyundais have is crazy. The car with the biggest trunk we have at work is like a 2005 or something Accent.

I’ve always found this design to be interesting for our US market. Looks like a typical car you would find in the UK.

If the front were lowered and the rear didn’t have that little spoiler ruining the curve, it might look rather like an old Saab. Nothing wrong with that.

I prefer the Touring
Hyundai’s take on the Matrix.

We’ve had a couple cars with that big booty look. The lowest-end 3 series and C class for a while were that style.

We had one for about 5 years, before it was totaled. It wasn’t the GT but the GLS, so no leather seats and sunroof. But it had a 5 speed, it was a pretty great car. Spacious, fuel efficient, and never left us stranded. Sad to see it go.

I had a girlfriend a few years ago with one, without saying too much, I firmly put it in the era of ‘before Korean cars got good’

We see them a lot over here in the Netherlands. I don’t like them, but I can't hate them either.

I preferred the look of the Kia Spectra GSX hatchback:
It was apparently woefully underpowered though, in addition to all the other issues with an early 2000s Kia. It also had a silly huge rear wiper, which looks even more ridiculous with a beam-type wiper installed:

I like them cause the rear looks like a vampire at night with the lights on.
(Sorry couldn't find a nighttime pic)

I actually never minded that generation of Elantra. A friend had the sedan for years and it was a good car until it died in an accident! The rear tail-light treatment was always interesting on the GT for me! :)

Wouldn’t Hyundai’s take on the Matrix be the HYUNDAI MATRIX?
Jk. One is a hatchback and the other is an MPV.
